Penn Family Collection
William Penn, the founder of the Pennsylvania colony, and his reputable descendants left a material legacy that is today spread across many institutions, from local libraries and state institutions, to universities and private collections. The State Library of Pennsylvania houses a select few original materials from the Penn family in Rare Collections. Also included in the digital holdings is William Penn's First Frame of Government for Pennsylvania / Frame of 1682, which is owned by the Pennsylvania State Archives and provided here with permission.
