Visiting the State Library
The State Library of Pennsylvania occupies the east end of the Pennsylvania State Capitol complex in the beautiful c. 1920 Forum building. All are welcome to visit for in-person service during our open hours. Current state employees may sign up for a library card to check out books and use our databases. Many of our items are available via inter-library loan.
For more information about our collections and services, please contact the State Library via email at ra-reflib@pa.gov or by phone at (717) 783-5950.
