State Civil Service Commission State Documents
The State Civil Service Commission works to promote greater efficiency and economy in government by applying merit system methods and principles to state personnel management. The Civil Service Commission serves as an enforcement, regulatory and investigative body in carrying out the provisions of the Civil Service Act as amended. The Commission recruits and examines job applicants, certifies employment and promotion lists, and hears appeals against actions of appointing authorities.
The publications of the Civil Service Commission contain annual reports. Selected topics from these publications include yearly happenings and statistics for the Commission. The bulk of the current material is dated from 2022 to present.
